I would firstly like to thank you for visiting my blog, I hope that you find the posts filled with inspiration, touching moments and above all Love, because at the end of the day that is what a wedding is all about!
My name is Katie and I, like many girls, have had ideas and dreams about my wedding from a young age. I can remember driving past a church one morning when I was about five and seeing a wedding party exiting the church. The scene was something out of a fairy tale to me, a lady in a beautiful white dress, a huge smile on her face, arm in arm with what could only be her prince charming surrounded by adoring subjects throwing petals in the air. From that day I was completely hooked, a hopeless romantic for life!
Years have passed and my box of wedding clippings and ideas has grown steadily -hopefully to be put to use in a year or two! The passion I have for weddings and what they represent is the reason behind this blog. I would like to create a platform for not only brides-to-be to gain ideas about their weddings but also for past brides to share their ideas and images from their special day.

Thank you, firt of all, for following me on Twitter. Secondly, my compliments to you on such insightful writing. Your blog about what it means to be a bridesmaid should be compulsory reading for all involved. Too many times have I attended a weddimg shoot where the so-called chief bridesmaid has been little more than a flower carrier. Mind you, best men are often not much more effective.
